Covers are disbound and very worn, there are lots of penciled numbers on the pastedowns. Inner pages are disbound, title page has a closed horizontal tear halfway across its face; all the pages have edge wear, including chipping and tearing; some pages have several inch tears; all page corners are creased and worn, the pages are toned, there is foxing and toning; nonetheless the pages are complete, the text is only infrequently affected by a closed tear, edge chip, or corner crease, and the text is always bright and legible. A complete copy of this important work, in poor condition. Deserves a loving rebinding.
