FIVE Original 19th Century Booklets on CORN LAWS. All are in FAIR condition, disbound, with signatures and pages loose but in proper order.

(1) THOUGHTS ON CORN LAWS as Connected with Agriculture, Commerce and Finance, by J. D. HUME (James Deacon Hume). LONDON: Printed for R.C. and J. Rivington, 1815. Disbound, signatures loose, ink stamped number on title page, last page soiled, edge wear, foxing and soiling here and there; nonetheless complete from title page through last page with text that is clear and bright throughout.

(2) A LETTER ON THE CORN LAWS, and on the MEANS of OBVIATING the MISCHIEFS and DISTRESS, which are RAPIDLY INCREASING, by THE RIGHT HON. LORD SHEFFIELD (John Baker Holroyd, Earl of Sheffield). LONDON: Printed for John Murray, 1815. Disbound, trimmed at the spine edge leaving all pages loose but in their proper order, the backside of the title page has an 1891 stamp of the New York Public Library and a stamp of the N.Y. Public Library Ford Collection, there is soiling to the title page and the last page, the inner pages are lightly toned and have corner creases, some edge wear, foxing and soiling here and there; complete from title page through last page with text that is clear and bright throughout.

(3) PRACTICAL MEASURES Finance, Corn, Poor Laws, Currency, Emigration, Law, Railways, and Education, by D. D. JAMESON. LONDON: Smith, Elder and Co., 1844. Disbound, signatures coming loose but still holding, title page has a 2 inch closed tear starting at the spine, inner pages are lightly toned and have corner creases, some edge wear, foxing and soiling here and there; complete from title page through last page with text that is clear and bright throughout.

(4) ADDRESS to the LANDOWNERS OF ENGLAND on the CORN LAWS, by VISCOUNT MILTON. LONDON: James Ridgway, fourth edition, 1832. Disbound, sewn binding still holding, ink stamped number on title page, early previous owner's signature and date on title page (Joseph Buckley / Exon. 1832), complete from title page through last page, pages are clear and bright throughout.

(5) THE CORN TRADE INVESTIGATED, and the SYSTEM of FLUCTUATIONS EXPOSED..., by Buxton Lawn. SALISBURY: Printed and Sold by J. EASTON, New Edition with Large Additions, 1801. Trimmed at the spine edge leaving all pages loose but in their proper order, the backside of the title page has an 1899 stamp of the New York Public Library; the title page is soiled, has some spotting, some chipping at the top edge, and a previous owner's signature and handwritten marks; the last page is soiled; the inner pages have some soiling, spotting, creasing, edge wear, and foxing here and there; nonetheless complete from title page through last page with text that is clear and bright throughout.
