1957 YEARBOOK STANFORD GRADUATE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS w/ JOHN MORGRIDGE ex CEO Cisco Systems

PROSPECTUS 1957: GRADUATE SCHOOL OF BUSINESS STANFORD UNIVERSITY. YEARBOOK for the Year 1957. Published by Stanford University, Stanford, California, 1957. Hardcovers, 8x10.5 inches, 48 pages. Filled with photos of the students of the class of 1957 and 1958. Only FAIR condition, the main flaw is that the front hinge is split and looks like it was poorly glued to the front free endpaper and title page, with the spine edge of both pages chipped, creased, and with some tears, the rest of the inner pages seem bound reasonably well; there are a few 2 inch closed tears starting at the gutter of a couple pages, affecting a few of the student photos; a few of the latter pages have some brown staining to their upper area, perhaps from an old coffee stain; there is some spotting and smudging here and there; nonetheless a complete copy that shows Stanford Business School as it was in 1957 and 1958, i.e. only four women students (2 in 1957, 2 in 1958) and one African-American student. JOHN MORGRIDGE is in the Class of '57. He was the CEO and CHAIRMAN of CISCO SYSTEMS. His portrait with a few lines of bio are in the yearbook. My question to him is: How could someone with such a goofy haircut and funny looking ears become such a kind and generous philanthropist? Maybe it has something to do with the last word in your bio: "TASHIA".
