Leslie Hotson was a noted Harvard Professor, b.1897 d.1992, who was known for unravelling mysteries he found hidden in numerous Elizabethan literary works. Published by Rupert Hart Davis, London, 1954. First Edition, First Printing, with the date 1954 on the title page and no indication of later printing on the copyright page. Hardcover book in dustjacket, 5.5x8.5 inches, 256 pages. Condition: GOOD book, the covers corner tips are bumped and there are a few indents to the edges; internally the pages are lightly toned, there is some foxing here and there, and the upper corner of the pages is creased; otherwise tight, bright, clean and unmarked. In a FAIR dustjacket that is torn and frayed at the top of the spine and lesser so at the bottom of the spine, creased with tears along the edges, toned and soiled; nonetheless the dj is still doing its job.
