SAN FRANCISCO INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT MASTER PLAN 1998-2007. Published by the AIRPORT COMMISSION, October 9, 1997.
Large format sheets bound with metal spirals, clear plastic front cover and plain paper rear cover, 11x17 inches oblong, pages printed on one side only.
Pagination: Printed cover page and Table of Contents, then 42 Drawings / Schematics of how construction of the New SFO International Airport will take place in steps from 1998-2007. Each drawing is on its own page, printed on one side only. The drawings illustrate when and where various construction projects will occur, and how the construction will affect various aircraft gate positions.
Accompanied with 31 loose printed reproductions of satellite photographs of various sections of the San Francisco Airport. These sheets are titled Storm Water Pollution Prevention Monitoring Locations. The sheets are numbered A1 to A37, plus a cover sheet showing the entire SFO airport and the surrounding bay. Sheet A7, sheets A9 to A13, and sheet A18, (7 sheets total), are lacking.
GOOD condition: The plain paper back cover of the Master Plan is creased, worn, and mostly pulled from its staples; otherwise the front cover and inner pages are nice, complete, bright, clean and unmarked. The laid in sheets of reproduced satellite photos have some edge wear and light signs of handling, overall they are bright, clean and clear.
A rare look at a 10 YEAR MASTER PLAN for construction involving a Major International Airport Terminal Complex.
