Original UCLA Ph.D THESIS titled SPATIAL PATTERNS OF URBAN RESIDENTIAL AREAS: INCOME AND HOUSING QUALITY SEGREGATION. By Lawrence Eugene Maxwell.
"A Dissertation Submitted in Partial Satisfaction of the requirements for the degree of Doctor of Philosophy in Geography". Dated 1972.
SIGNED by three members of the University of California Los Angeles Committee on Graduate Study. . Hardcovers, black cloth covered boards, gilt titling on the spine, 8.5x11 inches, photocopied pages printed on one side only, 242 pages including an Appendix and line maps at the rear..
VERY GOOD condition, the covers are solid and sharp with bright gilt on the spine; internally, the first two blank prelim pages are creased at the bottom corner, all the pages are lightly toned, especially at the margins; otherwise all the pages are tight, bright, clean, clear and unmarked. A solid, very nice copy.
An interesting PhD thesis on Housing Segregation and Inequality written in 1972 when inequality was just starting to get worse and worse and worse and worse...
