Pagination: [xiv], 596 (it is well known that this book actually has only 508 pages; there is a printer's pagination error causing the page following 280 to be numbered 369; it is however the correct page and ALL pages are present as published), pages. Text in LATIN and GERMAN. Illustrated with a portrait frontispiece, decorative initials and tail pieces.
This is a rare early edition of this Latin German Lexicon.
GOOD Condition: Covers are rubbed, spine folds are scraped, front spine fold is cracked but holding well, 1 inch of spine covering is missing at the top, otherwise the covers are doing their job well and are attractive in a Hogwarts Library way; internally, there are a number of early ownership signatures and a red embossed seal on the verso of the front free endpaper, pages lightly browned with age, there is a bit of foxing / spotting here and there, overall the inner pages remain tight, bright, clean and clear. A solid, presentable copy.
