A beautifully lyrical and painterly print where deep reddish pink sits alongside varying densities of black and purple, off to the left, in an area seemingly beyond the original etched plate are two pink circles joined with a delicate ribbon of yellow which hovers across the top of the image. A highly individual self contained composition.

Original textured flaxen paper folder booklet with brown and blue printing on the front cover, descriptive text internally, and original 4.25" x 10" lithograph after an intaglio print (#7 of 9 in the book) on thick handmade paper tipped on, includes original textured tissue guard loosely laid in. Horizontal format 12" x 8.5" with deckled edges. This prospectus was issued prior to the publication of the book and the lithograph is a miniature reproduction of the full size intaglio print in Frankenthaler's "This Is Not A Book," that was issued in a limited edition of 50 copies. The edition number for the Prospectus is unstated, but like the book, are rarely offered for sale. NEAR FINE CONDITION: just a touch of wear to the covers, the lithograph is bright and beautiful.
