1913 SILICON VALLEY POLO Antique Bay Area Sporting Life EQUESTRIAN SPORT PHOTOS
PENINSULA POLO ANNUAL: An ILLUSTRATED RECORD of the SEASON of 1912-13 in San Mateo, Hillsborough and Burlingame. By D.A. Raybould.
Published by Charles Glendower Ellicot, San Mateo, California, . First Edition.
Includes information on matches, players, club members etc.
Hardcovers, illustrated paper covered boards, 5x7 inches, 78 pages plus 6 pages of ads. Illustrated with 27 b&w photographs (some on their own page, some two to a page, some in-text) of polo matches, polo players, and related. Also illustrated with some really cool ads of the day.
Condition: Covers are worn through at the corners, scraped at the edges and spine folds, and there is a 1/2 inch chip at the top of the spine, else the covers are bright and solid. The binding is somewhat shaky but holding well. Internally, there is some light soiling to the margins of a few pages, otherwise the pages are complete, bright, clean, clear and unmarked.
RARE. I have never seen another copy. No copies are listed in OCLC/WorldCat.
