Hardcover book, original card covers with cloth covered spine, paper spine title label, 6x10 inches. Pages numbered in alphabetical sections (A - 21 pages, B - 52 pages, C - 51 pages, etc.)
FAIR condition, the covers have rubbing, soiling, shorelining, wear at the corners and edges, and have tears to the top 1.5 inches and the bottom inch of the spine covering; the spine title label is chipped and faded; internally there is significant foxing on the first and last 10 or so pages, otherwise just a some light foxing throughout; there is shorelining to the front margin of the first and last 10 or so pages, to the top and bottom margins of most pages, and here and there; and a previous owner wrote what appears to be shelving numbers next to the first 30 pages of cataloged items (all the A listings and some of the B listings); nonetheless this original first edition is complete, tight, and bright, with text that is clear and legible throughout.
