WILMINGTON [Delaware]: Printed by R. Porter, 1816. One volume abridged edition, first thus. Originally published in a two volume unabridged edition in Philadelphia in 1808.

Hardcovers, professionally rebound in brown cloth covered boards with gilt titling to the spine, 4.5x7 inches, 348 pages.

FAIR Condition: The modern covers and endpapers are in fine condition. Internally, there is an early previous owner's signature on the title page (William Edmondson), the pages are toned/browned and have shorelining here and there, and some of the latter pages have edge chips (not affecting text). Overall, the pages are showing their age but are nonetheless complete, legible, and attractively rebound.
