A 26 page dissertation on chess followed by 32 pages of chess bibliography (pages numbered consecutively), laid paper, tangible type, 12mo, 4.5x8 inches (12x20 cm), 58, [2] pages, sewn binding, deckled front and bottom page edges, some signatures trimmed shorter as issued

GOOD condition, the vintage laid paper is bright and clear, the title-page leaf has a piece torn from its bottom corner, not affecting text, there is a bit of darkening to the page edges, overall a complete, bright, clean and clear copy with vintage paper that is lovely to touch. Some signatures remain uncut. One of the nicer copies I have seen.
