GOOD condition: The covers have soiling, light water staining to the bottom margin, and foxing to the edges, but remain solid with bright titling on the front cover and spine; there is some foxing to the page edges (page edges of the closed book); there is some waviness to the bottom margin of the pages, most noticeable (but still light) on the last few pages; the rear endpapers have some light staining to the bottom margin; a few pages have offsetting / browning where a newspaper article was likely laid-in (not present); there is a bit of light staining here and there; overall the inner pages are tight, bright, clean, clear and unmarked. June Jordan's ink inscription on the front free endpaper is bright and clear.
