The photograph is in NEAR FINE Condition bright and clean, the inner signed mat has a shoreline stain in the lower left corner, not affecting the photograph (this can also be seen on the rear backing board), and both of Ken Botto's signatures are bold and bright. A scarce early photograph from his famous Barbie Series.

Photographer Ken Botto (American, 1937-2008) Bolinas based artist who received his BFA from California College of Arts and Crafts and his MFA from Claremont Graduate School. Botto's photographic work has been widely exhibited and is in the permanent collections of the New York Metropolitan Museum of Art; the Museum of Modern Art, New York; and the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art.
