A comprehensive, award winning, two volume history of five decades of long distance racing, covering the World Sportscar, Grand Touring, and Manufacturers Championships events from 1953 through 1999. Every event, every entrant, complete and accurate results. Includes driver listings and profiles, course maps, photos, chassis numbers and much, much more.

Each volume bound in black cloth covered boards with silver titles, 9x12 inches (23x30.5 cm), illustrated throughout with photographs, race course line maps, and detailed drawings. Together the two volumes contain a total of 2255 pages. Both volumes are contained in a burgundy cloth covered slipcase.

VERY GOOD condition: The covers of the two volumes show light signs of handling and wear, else tight, bright, clean, clear and unmarked; the slipcase has a spattering of tiny star-like silver dots and a few rubs to the upper area of its front panel, otherwise solid and nice, with bright silver titling. An attractive, very presentable set.
