James Broughton and Suzanna Hart were married in 1962. This 1966 chapbook feels rather like a birthday gift of love from one to the other, produced in the early years of their marriage. They had two children together. They were divorced in 1978, likely a result of Broughton's bisexual philandering.

This is one of the only copies of this husband/wife chapbook I have ever seen.
