Contains 20 COLOR LITHOGRAPHS by GEORGES BRAGUES printed by MOURLOT FRERES, Paris. The lithographs include the wonderful title page and frontispiece. Each lithograph is printed on its own leaf, each suitable for framing. The book is also filled with numerous other heliogravure illustrations, most in b&w.
Condition: The cover's spine has faded to white, has mostly pulled from the text block, and is missing 2 inches at the top; the front and rear boards are solid and well attached, they are sunned near the spine and a bit at the top margin, are frayed at the spine folds, and have very light corner bumps. Internally near fine, the sewn text block is strong and all the pages are great - bright, clean, clear and unmarked. The lithographs are all brilliant. No dustjacket.
