About CAT / CIVIL AIR TRANSPORT (from Wikipedia):
******Civil Air Transport / CAT was a Nationalist Chinese airline created in 1946. After the fall of Nationalist China the airline was owned and operated by the U.S. Central Intelligence Agency. The airline's public face was as a legitimate airline offering "Gracious Service" to exotic travel destinations, but in reality it was a front for the CIA's covert operations throughout East and Southeast Asia.******
