This report challenges the report issued by the NTSB, FBI and the Subcommittee on Aviation, which claimed that the mid air explosion was caused by fuel vapors. This report goes into detail to explain how that conclusion is highly unlikely, and shows evidence to prove that the explosion was caused by a missile, launched either by a terrorist organization or accidentally by the U.S. Navy. Tries to PROVE A GOVERNMENT COVERUP of a TERRORIST or ACCIDENTAL MISSILE ATTACK on TWA FLIGHT 800, a commercial airliner. Red paper covers, plastic spiral bound, 8.5x11 inches, 127 pages. Contains various evidentiary exhibits, including reproductions of photographs, drawings, expert statement, letters, etc. VERY GOOD condition, just lightly used, tight, bright, clean and unmarked. About TWA FLIGHT 800, the GOVERNMENT CONCLUSIONS, and the CONSPIRACY THEORIES (from Wikipedia): ******Trans World Airlines Flight 800 (TWA 800) was a Boeing 747-100 that exploded and crashed into the Atlantic Ocean near East Moriches, New York, on July 17, 1996, at about 8:31 p.m. EDT, 12 minutes after takeoff from John F. Kennedy International Airport on a scheduled international passenger flight to Rome, with a stopover in Paris. All 230 people on board perished in the third deadliest aviation accident in U.S. territory. Accident investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) traveled to the scene, arriving the following morning amid speculation that a terrorist attack was the cause of the crash. Consequently, the Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) initiated a parallel criminal investigation. Sixteen months later, the FBI announced that no evidence had been found of a criminal act and closed its active investigation. The four year NTSB investigation concluded with the approval of the Aircraft Accident Report on August 23, 2000, ending the most extensive, complex, and costly air disaster investigation in U.S. history. The report's conclusion was that the probable cause of the accident was an explosion of flammable fuel vapors in a fuel tank and, although it could not be determined with certainty, the most likely cause of the explosion was a short circuit. Problems with the aircraft's wiring were found, including evidence of arcing in the Fuel Quantity Indication System (FQIS), a system that had been the ignition source in a fuel tank explosion that had previously destroyed another 747. The FQIS on Flight 800 is known to have been malfunctioning; the captain remarked on what he called crazy readings from the system approximately two minutes and thirty seconds before the aircraft exploded. As a result of the investigation, new requirements were developed for aircraft to prevent future fuel tank explosions. TWA Flight 800 conspiracy theories exist, the most prevalent being that a missile strike from a terrorist or an accidental launch from a U.S. Navy vessel caused the crash, and is the subject of a government cover-up.******

From a Japanese review on a Japanese website (roughly translated by Google, edited for clarity):

******This is a book that my parents bought me about 30 years ago. As a train lover, I often pulled this book off the bookshelf and looked at the illustrations and photos of the trains. I lost the book more than 20 years ago, but I recently found it again and bought it.

There are many trains that have been abolished since this book was published in 1982, which makes the illustrations of trains (such as Shinkansen 0 series vehicles), all the more interesting. Not only the trains, but also train names and rail lines themselves have changed or been abolished, for example the Nagano Shinkansen is no longer running, and the steep slope Usui Pass between Karuizawa and Yokogawa in Nagano Prefecture is now pulled by heavy duty electric locomotives. There are also pictures of "Asama" of the L limited express and of the old Shinkansen's general command center.

There are technical details I still do not understand, such as "In the Moha 781 intermediate electric car, the control of the main motor is constant current control by thyristor continuous phase control." The end of the book is full of such details, including the technology of train power, speed control, brakes, signals, etc. Maybe you will understand them.

When I turned the pages after a long absence, I felt very nostalgic.******
