The DELUXE EDITION, LIMITED TO ONLY 250 COPIES is RARE; inscribed by the author to the racing car enthusiast, collector, and broker Mark Ketcham makes it especially so.

FROM THE ESTATE OF MARK KETCHAM.

About the Author, János L. Wimpffen (from Wikipedia):

******János L. Wimpffen (born 1950s, Graz, Austria) is an American motorsport historian and writer of Austro-Hungarian origin who specialises in sportscar racing; he is best known for his 1999 debut book Time and Two Seats, which won multiple awards.******

About MARK KETCHAM, to whom the book is inscribed (from his Obituary in the Healdsburg Times):

******Mark Ketcham, b.1955 d.2020. Classic sports cars, family, good food and great wine. In no particular order, these were the things that made Mark Ketcham happy. Over the course of 20 years as a resident of northern Sonoma County, Ketcham founded Ketcham Estate Winery and established himself as a fixture in the local philanthropy scene.

Ketcham began his career in hi-tech, but cashed out of high-tech and turned his passion for collecting vintage Ferraris and other rare sports cars into a business for buying, racing and brokering collector cars. The business, Ketcham Imports, still exists, though Ketcham sold his beloved blue 1972 Lancia Stratos a few years ago.

Ted Johnson, owner of Milestone Motor Cars in Boynton Beach, Florida, who worked with Ketcham on dozens of car deals over the years, said Ketcham was a "true connoisseur," and was known around the world for his attention to detail with record-keeping. "He was a race car historian," Johnson said of his late friend. "He owned (Ferraris). He played with them. He loved them."******

About DELAWARE PARK THOROUGHBRED HORSE RACING TRACK (from Wikipedia): ******Delaware Park (also known as DelPark) is an American horse racing track, casino, and golf course in Stanton, Delaware. It is located just outside the city of Wilmington, and about 30 miles from Philadelphia. William DuPont, Jr. a designer of twenty three racing courses, designed and built Delaware Park Racetrack in partnership with Donald P. Ross. Phillip T. Harris of Media, PA., was hired as the architectural engineer. The facility opened on June 26, 1937 and today is the only thoroughbred horse racing track in the state of Delaware. Races are run from May to October. In recent years, near Triple Crown winner Afleet Alex and Kentucky Derby winner Barbaro, both won their career debuts at Delaware (Barbaro did it on the grass at 7-1), and the sprint champion mare Xtra Heat was based there. The track is now home to many horses who routinely ship to and win at the major circuits in New York, Florida and Kentucky.******
