Kenta Cobayashi SIGNED Japanese HALLUCINOGENIC Photography EVERYTHING_1 Limited Edition Artist Book Only 500 Copies
KENTA COBAYASHI. EVERYTHING_1
SIGNED by the Artist KENTA COBAYASHI in silver ink on the inside front cover flap. Published by Newfave, Tokyo, Japan, 2016. First edition, limited to 500 copies, so stated. Illustrated softcovers, 11.75" x 8.25", Neon orange elastic string binding, offset printed with 80 unnumbered pages of psychedelic imagery. NEAR FINE Condition: tight, bright, clean and unmarked. An excellent example of Cobayashi's first book, scarce signed.
Using playful patterns and distorting abstractions, Cobayashi creates a provocative warped reality somewhere between a futuristic place and a hallucinatory landscape. This surprisingly distinctive work, with its vibrant colorful glitchy trippy layers of digitally manipulated photography look like they were printed with acrylic paint.
Photographer and digital artist Kenta Cobayashi (b. Japan 1992) is famous for his unique deconstruction of urban photography. In addition to his gallery work, Cobayashi's artwork has been used for advertising campaigns for Louis Vuitton and collaborations with Dunhill.
